I suggest you follow Jasno's tutorial on building an ML401 system from
scratch - it's not diffuclt, and you'll learn a lot more than just
building the reference design from the website:

There were issues meeting timing, but I think they are fixed with newer
versions of the tools and cores.

There's a few ways - google does index the archives, so adding
"microblaze-uclinux" to any google search will tend to search over those
archives. You can also browse them via
