[microblaze-uclinux] syslogd question

	Can someone help me understand why syslogd is eating up roughly 35%
of the available CPU cycles? I have a tiny little daemon that posts log
entries to syslogd; my app uses roughly 2.8%, syslogd 34.6% and klogd 2.6%.
Any pointers are very much appreciated, including if others see the same
behavior. Thanks.
