Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Which Intel flash devices are supported by MTD?

hi

Ok as i know -
if u search in the the path given below , this will be helpful

1. ~/uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/drivers/mtd/chips/cfi_cmdset_002.c
    ~/uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/drivers/mtd/chips/jdec_probe.c

or grep recursively in mtd directrory.

2. using make menuconfig
go to the kernel config and find out the kernel support for mtd
devices here we enable AMD flash support
      in our product.

actually u can also add ur flash if u can change some lines of code in
these files.

Where can I find a list of Flash devices supported by the MTD and JFFS2
versions included in the current uCLinux distribution?

Is the "P30" family of Intel Embedded Strataflash parts supported?

I am currently using a development board that uses the "J3" family of
Strataflash, but I would like to switch to the "P30" family for my final
design due to the higher densities available. My plan is to use two of the
512Mbit "P30" parts (part # RC48F4400P0VT00).

I believe that the biggest difference between the "J3" Strataflash and the
"P30" Strataflash is that the "P30" parts have two different sizes of
blocks
rather than having all the blocks the same size.
