RE: [microblaze-uclinux] SMP
Hi George,
We have an internal program experimenting with SMPs for image
processing.
Our plan around this was to "thread" applications on the Microblaze. In
order system, we have one Microblaze that runs uClinx and then 2 other
uBlazes that are queded as "driver level tasks". These processors run
straight "c" code to support image processing tasks.
It's a little different than a true SMP in that one OS isn't splitting a
task between multi-processors. But I think our way accomplishes the same
multi-processing of code with less OS overhead and better real-time
control.

hi
Is anyone working with microblaze as an SMP with uClinux? If so how are
you over coming the fact that the cache doesn't do a write allocate on
miss?
