Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Has anyone used the USB version of a PC IV interface

I have used the embedded version of Platform Cable USB on the XUP board. It is certainly much faster than Parallel Cable IV without ECP and should still be faster with ECP. I am experiencing one driver issue however. After powering on the board I have to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable in order for the device to cycle properly. Not sure if this issue is specific to the XUP board or to Debian.

Hi all.

I'm wondering if anyone has used the USB version of the PCIV programming cable
from Xilinx, also known as the Platform Cable USB.

Are there any advantages or issues etc? Any problems with drivers under Linux
etc?

Thanks
