Re: [microblaze-uclinux] SPI support in uclinux

John,

I plan on using the Xilinx SPI core. I have setup the hardware but I am not seeing anything come out of the wires. I dont have a device on the board yet but I want to test the functionality of the SPI core first. Thanks for the head up though, I have made a mock-up driver similar to the Coldfire driver. But have yet to perfect it yet. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Williams" <jwilliams@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hello,

I am new to the list and wanted to ask if anyone has been working on
implementing a spi driver support for uclinux. I am currently starting

anyone had implemented the SPI support for the uclinux kernel.

Are you using the OPB_SPI core, or just bit-banging through a GPIO?

There are SPI drivers in the kernel tree, though not specifically for
the Xilinx OPB_SPI core.

It could be worth checking out the old montavista 2_4_devel PPC tree, I
have a feeling there's a driver in there that would not be difficult to
bring across.

John
