RE: [microblaze-uclinux] Regarding bootloader error

Hi,

Perhaps I got ur problem.

Option in software platform settings Flash memory should neither be none nor SRAM. It should be instance of Flash memory itself.

Base System Builder will obviously give u option for Flash (Nothing like detection of  Flash) as eveif u don’t connect board, it creates hardware & software ptatforms contains  Flash mappings (mapping for every peripherals). Look in mhs or mss file whether Flash has entry or not. That will help u about ur confusion of not detection of flash.

Hi Sweta,

In your reply you have mentioned about enabling auto convert. How to do it.One more problem is that image file is loaded into SRAM and not in flash as while building the project it doesn't detect any flash in the board.Changing the flash option in"software platform settings" from "none" to SRAM with same start address will do ? So I tend to agree more with your second answer that there is some problem with the board.Do you think I should go for some other board like the one from Nu-Horizon where the flash is supported by the base builder system.

Waiting for your reply.
