RE: [microblaze-uclinux] xmdstub
| The key is the MDM module. My hardware guy removed it
| without letting
| me know, and I had no clue that it was tied to xmd stub. All
| searches for
| xmdstub in the xilinx documentation never tied those two
| concepts together.
| I have it now, thanks to some other posts on this list.
|
| The interesting thing is that Xilinx will "clean up" directories
| containing source code (read delete the contents) when you
| have decided
| you don't want that particular module in your project.
| Fortunately, it
| doesn't appear to clean up the Project: directories, just the xmdstub
| directory so far.
XPS will only remove what it creates. In generaly, don't use the
directories it creates except may the data and etc directories which are
always there. I knew it was something related to your debug hardware setup.
Related to the virus comment. After playing with one of my projects looking
into your issue, XPS now crashes whenever I try to access the debug options.
Thanks for passing the virus my way. ;)
