Re: [microblaze-uclinux] EDK 7.1 under cygwin
Hi Nuno,
Can't afford it ...
EDK 7.1 was bought for me through work as something I could spend a bit
of time working on at home.
I have the Memec Design V4FX12LC board, which I got as part of an Xfest
2005 promotional deal.
The idea was to use it to interface to a GPS receiver and do some signal
processing.
At the moment work has gone quiet so the finances are a bit limited.
(I'm working part time as a contractor due to ill health)
I'm hoping to develop some IP for the Spartan 3E board and the Digilent
VDEC-1 video digitizer board.
I worked at CSIRO Manufacturing Science and Technology in the 90s
working on Machine Vision systems using the 4000 family FPGAs, so have a
few things I would like to try out from when I was working on there.
I have developed a 6809 core on the Spartan 2e and Spartan 3 along with
6850 compatible UART 6821 PIA and a text based VDU. I have had one
inquiry from a guy at a University in the UK who wanted to use my 6809
core as an ethernet controller because the University would not buy him
EDK, so I'm not alone having difficulty affording it.
My FPGA project page is here:

I hope I did not sound too abrupt in my last email, but it took me a bit
of time to burn the CentOS 4.3 disks and install every thing. I
appreciate any help anyone can give me. I've managed to burn CentOS
3.7, so I'll give that a go.
John.
