Hi David,

you can follow the Microblaze uClinux getting stated documentation http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~wu/downloads/ .
although it targets ml401 board but is broadly applicable to any BSB-supported.

if you have a spartan3e-1600 board, a reference design with uClinux image can be found on petalogix's website http://petalogix.com/news_events/Spartan3E-1600
