[microblaze-uclinux] Compiling uClinux kernel problems
We are a group of students working on a project about reconfiguration of
FPGAs and we are working on the Suzaku platform from Atmark Techno. We
are having a lot of difficulties compiling the uClinux kernel. We have
got it to work on Red Hat 9.0, but no newer distributions, and we have
tried a lot. We get different error messages from the different
distributions, but it is always during the make command. We have also
tried with several different toolchains. The error messages is from the
c code of the uClinux distribution and we think there are something
wrong with the libraries.
Do we need a specific kernel to compile uClinux for the Suzaku boards?
Like 2.4.20 used by Red Hat 9.0
Do we need any particular packages, or do we need to set anything during
the configuration? We just use the defaults for the board during the
menuconfig.
