Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Application level compatibility between uClinux and Linux
Hi Chang,

Can you provide suggestions regarding the application level
compatibility between uClinux and Linux, with both 2.4.x and 2.6.x?
Can you simply recompile the applications developed for Linux for
uClinux, and vice versa?
Some yes, some no. Many applications will compile "as is".
If an application uses some of the system call support that
uClinux doesn't support (fork, sbrk for example) then the app
will need to be modified. Occasionally you will get an app
that uses something from glibc that is not implemented in
uClibc too, and that may also required a change.
