Hi folks,
Before I roll up my sleeves and start digging in, has anyone come up
with a Makefile for building a later version of Ruby within the
'uClinux-dist/user' directory tree without modification to the Ruby
source code. I've seen hints that this may be possible from the
microblaze-uclinux archives here:
http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~listarch/microblaze-uclinux/archive/2006/04/msg00013.html
However, I didn't see any validation that Ruby can indeed be cross
compiled within the uClinux source tree in the manner described. My
initial simple attempt failed and I would like to understand the
magnitude of the effort involved with getting Ruby running under uClinux.
Thanks,
Mike Thompson
