Hi falk,
No user apps modifications are necessary. You work with RT tasks which are built as linux modules. If you have not worked with Rtlinux before, you can read some docs about it, but I must say the learning is very fast to someone with C skills and some real-time theory.
About the patch, I have the code working with old uClinux(February 2006), and I want to release the code for current sources(december 06). I hope I can do the release ... next week.

Sounds great. What in the user program must be adapted?
Will your patch be compatible with the announced realtime patches of PetaLogix?
