You can download kernel source with V4 support from kernel.org. @.6
has been running on the V4 for over a year and I think it has been in
distribution kernels for atleast
6 months.
There is a specific fix required for V4's - but that is already in
the distribution source.
I believe that the Xilinx EDK 8.2i includes Linux 2.6 support - but
I have not played with this.
I would suggest subscribing to linuxppc-embedded@xxxxxxxxxx as that
is where all the Xilinx PPC activitiy seems to be.
The biggest known issue is that unless you are looking specifically
for a port that is already done - the ML403 is in distribution, My Pico
E12/E14 port is available through Pico.
There may be some others through the EDK, and the EDK purports to
assist in porting to other hardware, anyway, all other cases you will
have to do or contract for a BSP for your board.
