Re: [microblaze-uclinux] XUPV2P Board with 512MB DIMM



Hi Paul,
thanks for your advice to use ISE 8.2.
I now modified the *.MHS and *.UCF to use a 512MB DDR 
(Kingston, bought from Digilent) instead of the 256MB, but now the 
memory test doesn't work !
I finally come to the conclusion that probably none of the Xilinx 
sample designs works with the 512MB version! A Xilinx application 
engineer invested a lot of time (on another, very simple design) to 
find out that the opb_ddr using 512MB DDR has significant timing 
problems. His only solution was the hint to use ISE 8.2 !
