OOPS!  I should have checked the archives first...  I see this is being
looked into already (flash issue, etc.).  I will try making the suggested
changes (ML505 thread) and see what happens.

It would be wonderful if the ML501 could be added as a new reference
design...

BTW: This is for use in a commercial product - our first time using uCLinux.
Previously we've used MontaVista, VxWorks, Nucleus, uC/OS-II for various
other embedded projects.  All these are now rather expensive!  Funny, Mr.
Labrosse (uC/OS) started out believing that an RTOS should be cheap/free.
It seems that Open Source really is the way to go...

Has anyone successfully ported 2.4 or 2.6 to a Virtex-5 reference board
(ML-501, ML-505, or ML-506)?  I'm new to uCLinux (and this list) - so
there's a learning curve for me, in addition to building the new platform.
I'm running ISE 9.1.3 and EDK 9.1.2 with the new 6.00.b core for Virtex-5.
I'm using a dual-machine build approach (Xilinx tools on Win-XP, uCLinux on
another machine running Fedora 7).  The 2.6 build (created a new platform,
etc.) seems to partially function on the ML-501, but I'm having build issues
with the 2.4 core.

If anyone has tips, issues, problems, based on experience with Virtex-5
ports, I'd love to hear them!
