Glad you like it.
I'm trying to implement an FSL bus to a coprocessor and so far, things
are good. However, in trying to build my kernel, I notice that there's
no support for FSL FIFOs.. I did a bit of poking around and the driver
exists in the 2.4 kernel as drivers/misc/fslfifo, but not in the 2.6 tree.
Has anyone tried porting it to the 2.6 kernel?
No, not yet, although I wouldn't expect any major issues. It's a fairly
simple character style device.
Also, is there a CVS (or git (or any other SCS)) repository that is
accessible with the newest revisions? I don't mind having to do a
little patchwork to get things working if I need to.
Not yet, there's been some talk about Xilinx setting up a Git server to
host MicroBlaze and PPC development, but no sign of it yet. PetaLogix
could host a tree, I just haven't taken the time to learn Git yet.
I've given some thought to opening up our internal development tree (we
use SVN), but there are a few things still to be resolved before I can
do that.
Regards,
John
