Re: [microblaze-uclinux] problems downloading image.bin

Hello Moises,

image.bin consists of the linux binary and the romfs system. They are located in the same image.bin file. After download linux needs space for the .bss section. This space is created by relocating the romfs system behind the .bss section. Next the .bss is zeroed.

Subject: [microblaze-uclinux] problems downloading image.bin

hi,

i am trying to download an "image.bin" file via XMD from EDK, but next error appers:

Found romfs @ 0x4418b08c (0x000f6000)
#### klimit 4419f000 ####
Moving 0x000f6000 bytes from 0x4418b08c to 0x4419ed68
New klimit: 0x44295000

what does this mean??
I leave all kernel settings defaults, generate my files with "make all" and i only want to download petalinux kernel to my board (without FS-boot or U-boot, or any things like that, only probe my petalinux kernel on my board)

First i download the "TestApp_Memory" application to my board and works fine, then i open a XMD window from EDK and do the following:

> rst
> dow -data image.bin 0x44000000
> con 0x44000000

but appers the message:

Found romfs @ 0x4418b08c (0x000f6000)
#### klimit 4419f000 ####
Moving 0x000f6000 bytes from 0x4418b08c to 0x4419ed68
New klimit: 0x44295000

How download my petalinux kernel without using FS-Boot or U-boot??
i am nor using FS-Boot or U-boot because i have other problems with these applications.

Thanks for your help
