No, it's more delicate than that: every mail gets a Message-ID in the header. When
you do a reply, your mail client inserts this ID (in the new mail) as a Reference-ID
for other mail clients making it possible to group mail being sent at different
times, ie. threading view. It has nothing to do with (visable) addresses.

I'm sending this to the mailinglist since I believe this might be of general
interest and benefit of the entire group.
