Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Mounting SPI Flash STM25P16 (on Spartan-3A)

Hi,

Should be the M25P16 SPI flash. I was just wondering if this serial flash is CFI compliant and I found this on the WEB:
http://linuxbios.org/pipermail/linuxbios/2007-April/019802.html

I would say it is not ...

Cheers,
Cristian

Hello,

Using Spartan-3A Starter Kit, I'm trying to mount the SPI ST Microelectronic Flash STM26P16. The problem is, that PetaLinux (on MicroBlaze) doesn't detect the flash memory device.
I tried to enable "Detect Flash by CFI" in the Kernel Configurations but that doesn't seem to work. I can build the kernel image.bin but the flash is not detected after booting petalinux.
Does somebody here has an idea how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Regards,
Eldin
