In fact, XUPv2pro hasn't usb interface available for the user. The USB 
host connector available is a way for acessing the JTAG port of the FPGA 
trough xilinx sysace chip.

I suggest the ethernet port. Remember it will stop working in one hour, 
because the ethernet core available in EDK is a demo version.
Another option is load the application binary joint with the filesystem.
