Re: [microblaze-uclinux] virtex II pro + uclinux + microblaze + USB

Dear colleagues,

I have a simple question. What do I have to do to use USB port with my uclinux? I have a virtex II pro digilent board and I installed on that the uclinux "demo" distribution. I want to connect a USB pen to the board in order to copy some applications files.
In fact, XUPv2pro hasn't usb interface available for the user. The USB host connector available is a way for acessing the JTAG port of the FPGA trough xilinx sysace chip.

I think that I have to find some kernel that includes USB drivers for that board, is that true? On the other hand, what methods can I use to transmit applications files to the board?
I suggest the ethernet port. Remember it will stop working in one hour, because the ethernet core available in EDK is a demo version.
Another option is load the application binary joint with the filesystem.

I apologize for my ignorance of the subject, I'm new in the uclinux world.

Thank you very much.
