You have to declare them as resources, if I'm not missunderstanding this too much.
And then assign/bind them to the heartbeat feature. I must admit that I have failed
also in making my pool of LEDs blink, but that was several month ago.
Now, when reading about other stuff like SPI, I beleive that I have understodd
things a little bit more. But now fully to give you the ultimate answer.
