[microblaze-uclinux] Spartan 3E Rev D EDK 9.1 reference design problems

Hi there, 

I attempted to create  a new system based on the Spartan 3E Rev D
EDK 9.1 reference hardware. Everything seems to work until I boot the
linux Kernel.  I get a "Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs
on 00:00" error message, preceeded by a lot of error messages regarding
the flash. (See below). I followed the Spartan 3E Rev C Getting started
wiki, with the exeption of the clobstart memory set to 24000000. 

Software:
Xilinx ISE 9.1.03 (32bit)
Xilinx EDK 9.1.02 (32bit)
RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 (64bit)

Any ideas on what the problem could be ?
