In petalinux-mmu-v0.10 the Xilinx-Spartan3E1600-MMU-edk92 reference design has it's own copy of microblaze_v7_00_a that is out of date. This can be fixed by: cd $PETALINUX/hardware/reference-designs/Xilinx-Spartan3E1600-MMU-edk92 rf -rf pcores/microblaze_v7_00_a Then start xps and load system.xmp and it should update the following if you have the latest edk92 service pack. lmb_bram_if_cntl 2.10.a (same version) xps_uartlite 1.00.a (same version) microblaze 7.00.a -> 7.00.b mpmc 3.00.a -> 3.00.b
Thanks for the tip. That hardware platform was based on a validated build provided by Xilinx, and we didn't want to mess with it. But, as you point out you can remove the "local" microblaze and build from the main EDK tree.
