RE: [microblaze-uclinux] Microblaze GDB problems

Hi Otto,

I would try to help you, but as I also tried to use the gdbserver on PetaLinux-v0.30-rc1 today, I haven't had success either. I used http://developer.petalogix.com/wiki/UserGuide/Debugging/UserApplications as tutorial.

My first question is which program I should choose in the vendor settings when running 'make menuconfig' (?). First, I tried '[x] gdbserver' but that didn't compile here (something like a bad path ../gdb/gdbserver). Second, I set '[x] gdbserver (old)' which compiles without problems and after that I've found 'gdbserver' in romfs/bin.
But when I start the gdbserver with my user program:
  #gdbserver host:1234 /mnt/myapp
I get:
  Process /mnt/myapp created; pid = 50
  reading register 23: Input/output error
  Exiting

What's this?

Cheers,
F@lk
