Hard to say, actually. At the time I was looking for the latest and  
complete seven-dot-something-ish version of the softcore to help the  
hardware gyus. But it turned out that they had to fall back to six- 
something-ish since they couldn't use the plb bus but rather the olb.  
So I can't really comment on this at the moment.
