Hi Olof, sorry for the late reply and thanks for your intereset.
I already applied the microblaze_6.00b patch (sorry for not having
mentioned that). Did not receive any improvement, either.

I don't know if I can apply the 2.4 patch to a 2.6 kernel version.
Is it alredy taken into account in the uartlite.c driver?
Maybe I should try with a 2.4 kernel version, but had some trouble in
achieving that.

At the moment I'm trying to test a microblaze 7.00a version to see if
something has changed.
