Hi Olof,
I am not sure what you are trying to do.
First of all - it is better to apply only one patch set version. Latest is better.
If I understand correctly you have git tree and you want to add kernel with any patch set version and add it to petalinux distribution.
Am I right?
or the second choise is that you have patches and you want to create new git tree with it.
