Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Does ethernet_lite core work for uclinux tcp/ip stack?

Hi Orlando,

It should work for you. I've been using Xilinx ethernet_lite in uClinux for web server, nfs with tcp option without problem.

Hi everybody. First say hello , this is my first time here. Sorry, i'm new so i 've doubts . I'm interested in uclinux running in microblaze on a spartan 3e starter kit. I've read many docs,  mostly very good, but i realize that they use the full ethernet core. Im using edk 10.1, i definitely can not buy the full ethernet core, so if i follow this way i have two ways, use the free ethernet_lite core available on edk 10.1 or make the core for ethernet. Because i'm new, i would like to know if the easy way (ethernet_lite working for uclinux tcp/ip stack) works. My task is a web server to put data on it and then control some hardware. Please if anyone who has knowledge if the xps_ethernet_lite core is good as the full core, i 'll appreciate it very much .(sorry for the writing, i dont speak english). Thanks, landy
