JohnI've discovered that the MMU development environment is what is needed to build the system in question so I'm able to avoid rebuilding the toolchain. However the MMU environment is generating the following error:
/petalinux-mmu-v0.10/software/petalinux-dist/user/busybox/archival/gzip.c:2166: warning: type qualifiers ignored on function return type /petalinux-mmu-v0.10/software/petalinux-dist/user/busybox/archival/gzip.c:2166: error: conflicting types for 'build_bl_tree' /petalinux-mmu-v0.10/software/petalinux-dist/user/busybox/archival/gzip.c:1643: error: previous declaration of 'build_bl_tree' was here
Even unselecting gzip in busybox does not correct this problem. There also seems to be a rather odd error with both the rc1 and mmu distro's with sumversion.c missing the "#include <linux/limits.h>" statement. This seems odd because I would assume others would have long ago reported this error?
Also, I'm curious from others as to how much "user" applications of been successfully built and tested. My particularly interest at this moment is iproute2, openvpn, openssl and ssh/d. First impress is none of this has really been built and tested?
Lastly, I will rebuild the toolchain just as a check and report back if there are problems.

Do you happen to have the URL for it?It's in the source package: http://developer.petalogix.com/downloads/microblaze-uclinux-tools.tar.gz which toolchain package are you building?
