RE: [microblaze-uclinux] MAC addres problem
Hello Zdenek,
I change the MAC address with the ifconfig command, by changing a file
that is included in /etc/init.d/network in the rootfs (starting dhcpcd
afterwards).
This might help for the moment but the original question is open.
And I would like to add the question:
How to setup the MAC for U-Boot?
I tried some things (I cannot remember) and got my address displayed but
the packets sent had a different address.
Regards,
Carsten

Hello everyone,
I have met following problem, in the petalinux-v0.40-rc3 there is place
in kernel config wher the MAC address can be specified, however, the
address there is not the same as the address in the output kernel image.
I have 00:0A:35:00:23:00 set in menuconfig but resulting image has
always value 00:00:C0:A3:E5:44.
Is there somethig i am missing? How can I change the MAC addres?
Thank you very much for any help
Zdenek Pohl
