Convert between GPS/curvilinear and UTM/grid

This page allows you to convert Queensland curvilinear coordinates (lat/long) to grid coordinates (eastings/northings), and back again.

Notes



Grid coordinates are in AMG66 (AGD66/ANS) and the lat/long is consistent
with GPS (GDA94/GRS80).
This only really works for Brisbane coords (zone 56), and 
there will be some small error due to altitude. 
Latitude is positive north, and Longitude positive east.



The underlying program uses Redfearn's formula with ANS parameters, and
the 
DNR's 
QLD_0900 inter-datum shift tables.
(Because the shift tables are finite, not all global coordinates are 
convertable.)
