Description: A video showing the RatSLAM system mapping the St Lucia suburb, provided in two different formats. The video shows the formation of the experience map over the entire experiment at 1x to 50x real-time speed, with sections of interest such as the first four major loop closures shown at real-time or double real-time speed. The visual imagery obtained from the camera and used by the mapping system is also shown in synchrony with the mapping process, as well as a static aerial photo of the suburb.

Player Information: stlucia_wmv9.avi is playable in Windows Media Player versions 9 and above. stlucia_mpeg4.avi uses the xvid MPEG4 codec (1.1.2 or later), which if not already installed, can be downloaded from http://www.xvid.org/. To achieve reasonable file sizes, some form of compression was unavoidable, as the videos needed to be of sufficient quality and size to illustrate the processes.
