Task 1 (3%)

In weeks 5, 8 9 and 11 12, students will be required to complete a survey on their approach to team work.

Once you have done the demographic survey, the next survey will be available. Please complete professionally. All annotations will be seen by all students in your team. Team Health ( composite of all the team member entries without editing) will come available when your team has submitted their survey form.

Task 2 (3%)

Discussion on Team Health

In tutorials for weeks 6 and 910, we will help you examine your team health. Students need to print out the team health nd bring to their allotted tutorial for discussion. Team members will be asked to work together (using the print-out of their team's health) to identify the strengths and weaknesses for their team. Using the suggested strategies below, please focus on one area that you can work on to build stronger teams.

By Friday (5pm) of weeks 6 and 9 10, 12 and Monday 5pm of week 13, teams are required to complete and submit a team version of the Team_Health [template (doc file)] This form will ask you to document strengths, weaknesses and plans for improving your team's health.
Team Health files are to be named in the following strict format:

mmds1400_team_health_wk#_teamname.doc(x), where wk# = week number, and teamname is the admin name that we have recorded for your team.
For example: mmds1400_team_health_wk6_T1a.docx

Task 3 (4%)

In week 13 (by Friday 5th June, 5pm), individual students will submit (online to ITEE) a reflection on team effectiveness over the semester, and focus on issues raised from the cross-discipline and cross-culture mixtures in their teams.
