About OCA
The ITEE On Campus Alumni Subchapter, or OCA (pronounced "ocker"), is a student-led organisation
that promotes professional development and networking of ITEE students with peers, staff and industry.

Mission Statement
OCA facilitates interaction between ITEE students, ITEE staff and industry professionals. We provide students with networking events and opportunities to interact with fellow students and industry professionals and alumni. Depending on what the event is, this might be on a user pays or sponsored basis.
Networking and Career Events
OCA is working this year to strengthen ties with industry in order to provide better information and contacts for ITEE students with industry. Its aim is to make networking less daunting by arranging networking activities which would include representatives from industry and professional bodies, possibly even having the event sponsored by industry. ITEE staff would also be invited to encourage student/staff interaction.

Industry Links
OCA is liaising with industry groups and professional societies to develop networks which will benefit ITEE OCA students. Contacts are underway with the Young IT Professionals chapter of the ACS (Australian Computer Society), the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Sun Microsystems to explore opportunities for shared activities.
