3rd Australian Workshop on Industrial Experience with
Safety Critical Systems and Software

Sponsored by the ACS's Technical Committee on Safety Critical Systems.


The Australian Computer Society's Technical Committee on Safety Critical Systems held its Third National Workshop on Safety Critical Systems and Software (SCS'98) in Adelaide on 13 November 1998, co-located with the 1998 Australian Software Engineering Conference (ASWEC'98). This year's workshop attracted over 40 participants from a wide range of industries.

The full-day workshop consisted of a series of practical experience reports, a tutorial on formal methods, and an expert panel discussion session. Click here for the workshop program.

This year's workshop papers include reports on critical systems in railways, air traffic control, and the processing industry, and a process for safety analysis for Human Computer Interfaces.
