Dear fellow Catholics,

if you're looking for a chance to show your rejection of Calvinist heresy by doing a Good Work, here it is ....

Saint Philomena School is a Traditional Catholic Primary School (grades 1-7) located in a semi-rural setting at Park Ridge on the outskirts of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It's been operating since 1999, and still is in start-up stage, facing considerable expenses - for example the local authority (town council) requires a couple of hundred thousand (Australian) dollars of roadworks. We could also do with real buildings, not just the second-hand ones we've had trucked onto the site. Not to mention a real chapel. And maybe even a playground. Or a school hall. Etc etc etc.

To raise funds, we're holding a "North-American style" Jog-a-thon. Saint Philomena pupils are seeking sponsors-per-lap, or even outright gifts. If you'd like to help, please download http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~paul/st_phil/sponsor.doc or sponsor.pdf, complete and fax or e-mail back to Saint Philomena School.

Saint Philomena School is operated by the Society of Saint Pius X. For information as to where Saint Philomena School sits in the SSPX scheme of things, please visit http://www.sspx.com/MASSCTRS.HTM#Qld

Thanks and God Bless,
