Abstract:
Agile Methods such as Extreme Programming are gaining increasing acceptance in the development community, this is despite continual debate over their effectiveness and scope of applicability. We present case studies of Agile Development and discuss the perceived advantages (and disadvantages) of Agile Methods in the context of the case studies. We consider problems that were encountered in using Agile Methods and discuss approaches to their resolution. We conclude with future research directions in the area.
