ITEE seminar: Larry Weng, 10.00AM, Tue 11 Mar 2003
Regenerative Dynamometer Control and Data Acquisition system for Road Simulation and Motor Testing
Speaker: Larry Weng, ITEE
When: 10.00AM, Tuesday 11 Mar 2003
Venue: 78-622
Host: Dr Geoff Walker
Abstract:
Hybrid Electric Vehicle drive train configuration is one of the recent major research areas of investigation for many major automotive manufacturers. To research and develop a most appropriate configuration, comprehensive testing equipment is the key to optimum design. The test facility proposed for development as part of this Masters program is a regenerative dynamometer with computer control and data acquisition system for road simulation and motor testing. This is currently the most accurate and energy efficiency way to test an automotive drive train.
