The Road to a New Project on Program Analysis for the Sun Lablet at UQ |
Speaker: Cristina Cifuentes
When: 10:00, Thursday, 5 April 2007
Venue: 78-622
During the last few months I have talked to various people in the SSE group regarding problems that relate to program analysis: code refactoring, security analysis of source code, multi-threaded programs, etc., as part of a process to find a suitable project that is relevant to Sun Labs and Sun but yet can be run from Brisbane. At the same time a memorandum of agreement has been signed between Sun Labs and UQ-ITEE to setup a Sun Lablet at UQ. The aim of this informal talk is to summarize the road taken to arrive to a project proposal: which paths were considered and not followed and which one will be followed, as well as explain the informal nature of the Sun Lablet at UQ.
