WISE 2004 Hotel Booking
WISE2004 and its workshops will be held in Carlton Crest Hotel, ideally located in the heart of the city’s shopping and business district. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of the Casino, South Bank Parklands and the Brisbane Convention Centre.
WISE conference has negotiated special accommodation rates with the hotel. There are two type of rooms:
Carlton Deluxe Tower (5 Star) - A$134 per room per night All rooms feature classical furnishing with writing desk, data point entry, email access, in-house movies and three telephones, large bathrooms. You can choose 1X King Bed or 2 Queen/Double Beds (subject to availability).
Crest Four Star Tower (4 Star) - A$116 per room per night The comfortable Crest Standard Rooms are contemporary in décor and feature writing desk, infra-red keyboard email/internet access and private bathrooms. The bedding configurations in the Crest Tower are either 1 x Queen Bed or 2 x Double Beds.
The above rates do not include breakfast. Full buffet breakfasts are available for $23.5 per day.

You are encouraged to make your hotel booking as early as possible, as the number of rooms at our negotiated special rates is subject to availability.

Hotel Booking without using Credit Card:
Please download this booking form, complete and sign it (with payment information), and fax it to the hotel. To complete your booking, you need to pay the deposit in full to the hotel by the Bank Draft or the EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer). Please write WISE04 & You Name in your payment.
How to get to the Hotel from Airport
Option 1: Take a taxi Brisbane airport to the Hotel. It's about 18 km and costs your approx $30.
Option 2: Ask for Coach Transfers in the airport. The cost is $13.00 per person.
Option 3: Take Air Train from the airport and get off in Roma Street station (The Transit Centre). The cost is $10.00 per person, and from Roma Street station you need to walk for about 3 minutes to the Hotel.
We recommend option 1.
Parking
Hotel car parking is limited. The overnight fee applicable to in-house guests is from $14.00 per day. Adjacent to the Carlton Crest is the King George Square Public Car Park which is accessible from Roma Street.
Other Hotels in Brisbane
Delegates should make their own accommodation arrangements should they choose to stay in one of many other hotels in Brisbane. Many travel website, such as BestRates, Travel.com.au, and Queensland Holidays, provide a good range of options and rates. Some very good rates maybe available for late bookings at Wotif.com or lastminute.com.au. Please check the location of the hotel you wish to stay, as you need to make your way to the conference hotel. There are many hotels, from luxury to budget, within walking distance to Carlton Crest.
