Inaugural Meeting for the joint MTT/AP Chapter, Queensland

Dear Colleagues,

As you may be aware, a joint chapter of IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques
Society and Antennas and Propagation Society has recently been formed in
South East Queensland.

The inaugural chapter meeting will be hosted by Micreo Limited and held at
Filtronic Comtek on 24 July 2002 at 6pm. The map indicating the location is
attached.



All engineers involved or interested in Microwave Theory or Antennas and
Propagation in South East Queensland are invited to attend, regardless of
membership with the IEEE or the MTT / AP societies.

During the meeting, Mr Tim Shaw, Managing Director of Micreo Limited, will
present an introduction to the products and technology of Micreo Limited. A
tour of the existing Micreo cleanroom will follow the presentation.

In addition to the presentation, Chapter Representatives will be elected by
the members of IEEE MTT and AP Societies. Please provide nominations for the
positions of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Treasurer to Marek Bialkowski via

23 July 2002. Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting.

Refreshments will be provided prior to the meeting.
