23 July 2019 6:00pm

Room 217 Level 2 / General Purpose South Building (#78)

Come along to hear about how you can represent UQ at cyber security hacking competitions and bug bounty programmes.  There will be pizza!

UQ Cyber Security is forming a student-led, staff supported team of UQ students interested in training and forming teams for cyber security competitions locally (e.g. CySCA) and internationally (e.g. DEF CON CTF). In this information session we will introduce our plans and training strategy.

You don’t have to be an expert (yet) but we will aim to make you one.  All you need to commit to now is an interest in finding out more about joining our squad, so if you already know your way around Linux or Windows machines, and understand the basics of how computers and networks work, please come along.

Tuesday 23 July, 6pm
